Green initiative and network of local environmental organization Green List of  Serbia invites you to a twelve local action within the environmental campaign Get Planet Wise! Recycle, which will be held on  June 9  in Gornji Milanovac. During the day citizens  will be collecting waste paper, plastic bottles, cans, electronic waste and used batteries, and in the evening there will be held a rock concert by groups Deca loših muzičara (Belgrade), Morbid cow (Gornji Milanovac) and Plišani mališan (Gornji Milanovac).

Activity in Gornji Milanovac will be organized by CSO “GM Optimist” , a member of the Green List of Serbia and its implementation was provided by the Balkan Community Initiatives Fund (BCIF) in cooperation with the Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC) ​​and the Young Researchers of Serbia and with funding from the U.S. Agency for international Development (USAID).

Besides collecting recyclable materials, at the City Square, there will be organizes recycling games and environmental quiz.

It is expected to collect about 2 tons of waste paper, cans, PET packaging and EE waste, which will be shipped to a recycling facility.
