The best photos and videos  send to the competition on recycling and waste management, Online Recycling organized on Green initiative website, were elected yesterday after the judging.

In the category of best photos, the order is as follows:

First Award – Almedin Mehonic, “Welfare” (from Prijepolje)

Second Award – Sanja Boskovic, ” Steps from future” (from Valjevo)

Third Award are sharing – Sonja Jovanovic, “Fisherman of waste” (from Belgrade) and Angela Cini “Swans in their(un) natural habitat” (from Novi Sad)

In the category of best video recording, the order is as follows:

First Award – Mirjana Kolundzic, for the collection “A collection of un-deeds”  (from Vojvodina)

Second Award – Vid Rajin, “Raptor” (form Belgrade)

Third Award are sharing – Momcilo Momcilovic, “Landfill near Sombor Bridge” (from Karavukovo) and Srdjan Bulatovic, “Calvary” (from Zemun)

In section  Online Recycling on our website, you can see awarded, and all other works which were sent to the competition. The jury, which chose the authors of the best works were Dragan Kujundzic, photographer, Aleksandar Andjic, photographer, and a representative of the Green Initiative, Svetlana Stefanovic from the European Movement in Serbia.

The contest Online Recycling, which was launched in January, by the European Movement in Serbia wthin the campaign of Green initiative,  received 142 works (119 photos and 23 video works). The works were sent from 74 authors, from 37 towns in Serbia.

The awarding ceremony will be organized outdoors in the beginning of June, and winners will receive a valuable prizes in the spirit of environmental protection and promotion of healthy living. Announcement of the awards ceremony will soon be published on our website.
