Green initiative organized manifestation What monuments is our civilization leaving behind? on Nikole Pasica Square, to celebrate World environmental day and to announce beginning of campaign Watch out garbage!  During the event nearly one ton of recyclable materials was collected (PET, waste paper and aluminum cans) which was shipped to a recycling facility in cooperation with Green initiative business partners Ekostar pak  and Papir servis. Goran Sehovic, from Agency for European Integrations and Cooperation with Civil Society opened the event. Then followed and environmental performance carried out by children from preschool “Kraljica Marija” from municipality Stari Grad, together with POD Theatre and group of artists „Cirkusfera“. Event included awarding ceremony for winners of competition Online Recycling for photo and video works on recycling, launched by European Movement in Serbia within Green initiative. (June 5, 2012)
