Green initiative and Green List of Serbia invites you to join in the activity within campaign is Get Planet Wise! Recycle, on Friday, May 25, 2012 at Youth Square, in Trstenik. Citizens who decide to bring waste paper, electronic and electric waste will receive gifts.
Activity in Trstenik will be organized by Ecological Movement “Moravski orasak” from Trstenik, a member of the Green List of Serbia and its implementation was provided by the Balkan Community Initiatives Fund (BCIF) in cooperation with the Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC) and the Young Researchers of Serbia and with funding from the U.S. Agency for international Development (USAID).
Besides collecting electronic, electric and waste paper, which begins at 9.30 am, within the event there will be organized art workshop using recyclable materials, and presentation of environmental movies in a green bus.
It is expected to collect about 3 tons of waste paper ,electronic and electrical waste, which will be shipped to a recycling center.
