Green initiative and  Green List of Serbia invites you to the eight  local activity within campaign is Get Planet Wise! Recycle,  on Friday, May 11, in Knjaževac. During the day citizens will be collecting waste paper, PET, and electronic and electrical waste, and the evening a concert will be held by rock bands  Goodbye Bruce Lee and Nablesnotesni.

Activity in Knjaževac will be organized by  Center for a Sustainable Future “Green Zone” , a member of the Green List of Serbia and its implementation was provided by the Balkan Community Initiatives Fund (BCIF) in cooperation with the Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC) ​​and the Young Researchers of Serbia and with funding from the U.S. Agency for international Development (USAID).

During the day from 1 to 6 pm, in the Memorial Park, collection of waste paper, plastic packaging, electronic and electrical waste will be organized, and from 4 pm, at the same place  a press conference will be held, then the exhibition and award ceremony. During the evening, from 9 pm, in the Social Club Cultural Center of Knjaževac rock bands Bruce Lee from Novi Sad and Nablesnotesni from Knaževac, will through a concert for all the participants of the activity.

Planned activities will bring together citizens and local government representatives, students and teachers, utilities and recycling businesses to collect recyclable materials. It is expected to collect about 2 tons of waste paper and PET packaging ,electronic and electrical waste, which will be shipped to a recycling center.
