Green initiative and  local environmental organizations network Green List of Serbia invites you to the first spring action within campaign is Get Planet Wise! Recycle,  on April 6, 2012, in front of the Culture  Center “Vučje”. Citizens and primary school students will collect PET bottles, and the most successful will be rewarded.

After Vranje and Raska, which opened this year Get Planet Wise! Recycle campaign,  activity in Vučje will be organized by Association “Porečje”, a member of the Green List of Serbia and its implementation was provided by the Balkan Community Initiatives Fund (BCIF) in cooperation with the Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC) ​​and the Young Researchers of Serbia and with funding from the U.S. Agency for international Development (USAID).

In addition to the collection and shipment of recyclable materials to recycling facilities,  Memorandum will be signed between the public, private and civil sectors to solve the problem of separating waste.

Planned activities will bring together citizens and local government representatives, students and teachers, utilities and recycling businesses to collect recyclable materials. It is expected to collect about 1 ton of PET bottles, which will be shipped to a recycling center.
