The second session of the Working Group “Environment” of the National Convention of the European Union, will be held on Thursday, 31 May 2012th , starting at 10.00 am in the Serbian parliament – Green Salon (Kralja Milan Street, 14).

Within Green Initiative, the European Movement in Serbia is organizing  second session of the Working Group on subject  “Waste management and local plans”  which will include  presentation of the analysis on the process of adoption and implementation of local and regional waste management plans in Serbia.

Guests speakers at the session will be Ivan Kneževic, Deputy Secretary General of European Movement in Serbia, Dragoljub Todić, professor, internal expert working group,  Prvoslav Plavsic and  Vladimir Pavicevic, research team members. On the subject of implementation of legislation in the Republic of Serbia will speak Radmila Šehović, Chief of the Department of communal and special waste streams from Ministry environment, mining and spatial planning, and on experiences in the functioning of the PUC  related to the waste management system, Vesna Stefanovic from PUC Vranje.
