There is still a month until the closing of the competition online Recycling  until when young people form age 15 to 30 will be able to send photos and videos about recycling on the site of Green initiative, under section Online Recycling. So far, we received a great number of quality works, and the best works will will be awarded at the end of the competition with valuable prizes in the spirit of a healthy lifestyle and environmental protection.

The photographs sent until now to Online Recycling are showing a great number of examples of poor practice in waste management. At the same time, young people showed their desire to take concrete actions an affect solving problems that are noticed.  A photo of trash next to the railway line leading to the mill Kikinda, stimulated one of the local recycling operators to set up a cage for PET at the very place where the photography was recorded.

Via video message saying that by recycling of waste each of us can do something useful for themselves and their region, famous swimmer Milorad Cavic supported the Green initiative and called the youth to participate in the contest Online Recycling and at the same time indicate a problem in their local communities in relation to the management waste management and recycling.

All photos and videos,  sent so far to the Online Recycling can be seen on the website of Green initiative. The contest, which was launched by the European Movement in Serbia within the campaign of Green initiative, will be open until March 31, 2012, afterwards best works in both categories will be selected, while the closing ceremony and awards will be staged outdoors for determining award winners.
