Six students from primary school “Ivan Milutinovic”  from Visnjica   received prizes for participating in the contest for the best eco-book yesterday. The competition was held as part of the project “Green Hour – environmental education and creative recycling”, for the works created during the environmental interactive workshops.

Green initiatives through the Get Planet wise! Recycle campaign oriented towards stimulation of primary selection and recycling, supported and participated in these activities, which were financial supported by  Palilula Municipality, and designed and organized organized by CSO Dolphin.

By participating in the workshops primary school students learned about the importance of recycling, the basic problems of the environment and opportunities to creatively preserve the environment.

Satisfied with what they have learned, the participants of the workshop, which apart from making eco-notebooks and eco-bag included presentations, video screenings and discussion, said that they will transfer their knowledge to their peers who did not have the opportunity to make eco-notebooks and eco-bags.

- I really liked workshop  because we had a chance to play through the creative work and learn something useful about recycling. The book that I got  looks interesting and I hope to learn something new that I did not know by now- said Tešendić said Maja, one of the participants and won first prize for the best eco-book.

Dragana Jovanovic, President of CSO Dolphin, said that the jury had a really difficult task to choose the most beautiful eco-book, because they were all creative in their own way.

The whole action was supported by the Public Utility Company for Waste Management, a nonprofit organization Ekostar Pak, Association of Serbian publishers and internet portal Green Press.
