Lamp of cans, bottles and old disks made by elementary school students  Dusko Radovic from Bor (97,397 votes), buckets of waste wood in elementary school yard Jan Čajak from Backi Petrovac (90,263 votes), and recycling chess board at elementary school  Miodrag Čajetinac Chaika from Trstenik (14 325 votes) won the largest number of votes at the end of voting  for the most effective object made of waste, which was  organized during last month on  website of  Green List of Serbia (www.oplanetise.com).

The lamp on the roof of the school, buckets and chess board in the school yard are new objects which enrich the school activities for students in these cities, and are made entirely of recycled materials.

Considering results of this online voting,  final decision on the most effective object of waste made within Get Planet Wise! Recycle activity, will bring competent jury, respecting two other criteria as well, usefulness of the created objects for citizens and the community, as well as aesthetic value.

These objects of waste were made during past five months, within activities of member organizations of  Green List of Serbia, in 12 cities (Backi Petrovac, Novi Sad, Krusevac, Trstenik, Raska, Gornji Milanovac, Vranje, Vučje, Knjazevac Nis, Pirot and Pine), during which the various types of waste object that have a new use-value were produced (planters of cans, PET bottles from the summer house, children’s games from the tires, etc.).

This activity was initiated by BCIF and Green List of Serbia in cooperation with Telenor Foundation and the Embassy of the Netherlands in the campaign Get Planet Wise! Recycle.

Telenor Foundation has provided prizes for the winners in the form of Telenor Internet corner for the school. BCIF will award a special prize for the most effective item of waste to the winners in the category of kindergarten. Prizes for the winners are:

- I award 5 laptops with provided Internet access for a year

- Second Prize 3 laptop with provided Internet access for a year

- Third Prize 2 laptops with provided Internet access for a year

- Special Award in the category of kindergarten

Announcement of the winners and award prizes for the most effective objects of waste, will take place on  November 5th, in Belgrade at the festival GET PLANET WISE! RECYCLE.
